A Special Meeting was held on September 8, 2009 at Chatham Acres. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss salaries for the 2010 budget and voting on the purchase and installation of wireless ada doors at Bellwood Court and Chatham Acres. The meeting opened at 2:45pm. Members present were Patricia Dufour, Jo Ann Ewing, Monica Kangley, Ann McLaughlin and Tom Denman and Judie Bobbi.
At 2:50pm the Board went into executive session for a discussion on the salaries for all employees for 2010. Mr. Denman made a motion to approve the salaries and any other benefits. Ms. McLaughlin seconded. Vote was unanimous.
Motion was made by Ms. McLaughlin to exit the executive session at 3:05pm. Mr. Denman seconded.
The Special Meeting business was not completed before the appointment by Millenium Real Estate consultants and will reconvene after the presentation.
Special Meeting reconvened at 4:30pm. The discussion continued on the automatic door quote that was presented at the last regular meeting on August 19th. Three doors would be installed; one at Chatham Acres and two at Bellwood Court and also two digital deadbolt locks that could give access to tenants after hours. A motion was made by Ms Ewing to approve the purchase of the ADA EZ Wireless Door opener and deadbolt for about $9,000 contingent on Ms. Bobbi checking with the Town who has installed the same door opener at the senior center and other locations in town. Ms. Kangley seconded. Vote was unanimous.
A motion was made by Ms. McLaughlin to adjourn at 4:45pm. Ms. Ewing seconded.
